Larry Ricker will be your photography guide, assisting you in any way he can to help you to take your best shots. Larry has made more than 30 BWCAW trips including paddling, backpacking and winter expeditions. He has also taken backpacking trips to Glacier National Park and the Superior Hiking Trail as well as paddling trips on the Yukon River and the Pukaskwa coast of Lake Superior. He was a Boy Scout Leader for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience planning and leading trips in addition to his knowledge of photography.

Along the way, he has honed his wilderness photography skills, learned what does and what does not work for wilderness photography. His photos have appeared in publications such as Canoe & Kayak, CanoeRoots and Sports Illustrated magazines, He has had stories and photographs published in the Boundary Waters Journal and he has published his own Boundary Waters calendar for several years. Larry has also been a regular speaker at Canoecopia, a large paddling sports event held annually in Madison, WI.
